He showed me the beautiful watch collection he puts up for sale every day. It was all well arranged on an 8-grilled stand made of steel. The watches were of different colour, shape, size and price. That display of watches were without a doubt a candy to my eyes. Mohan’s mode of business was to get money in advance from a local financer to fund himself for purchasing the watch and he sells them for a higher margin and keeps the profit. He receives approximately a margin of Rs 50-200 on each watch he sells. On a good day Mohan sells 4-5 watches, but at times there are days where he was not able to sell a single watch.
Before I bid farewell to Mr Mohan and the inspirational Hollywood Colony I thanked him whole heartedly and purchased the most expensive watch he had on display. As I started
back on my way out through that cluttered narrow passage I cherished as much as many faces smiling at me through the pocket windows of their dwellings. I still remember that day as a 'Day spent well'. Mr Mohan and the streets of Hollywood colony had truly inspired me.
